Music is food for the soul. i have heard this quoted by several people, my mom being one of them.
i can agree with that quote as when i am sad and feeling down, i can turn on K-Love and hear some great inspirational, uplifting music and find my mood changing and my body responding to the beat, music and lyrics. Most times, i find myself singing along and dancing.
There are some great artists out there that can make a person feel deeply, i mostly listen to K-Love these days. i can find great music in every decade and in almost every genre.
Playing an instrument can also promote confidence, community and teamwork. Some really great valuable life-lessons.
