my reaction to Psalm 62, today’s Scripture Meditation:
The power does belong with God. No matter how much we pretend to be in control, we only have control over ourselves and our choices. In the end, we are all part of God’s plans and based on our choices God will choose our consequences.
i believe that unfailing love is different and even better than unconditional love. It means His love will never fail us. Unconditional love, means we can never fail Him. He will love us no matter what we do. Unfailing love, means even when we don’t love ourselves, we will always have His love to see us through.
i also believe that everyone that has faith in our Lord is looking forward to our final and greatest reward, eternal life in God’s Heaven. As long as we believe in Jesus, He has paid the ultimate price for our sins. Our earthly rewards are according to what we have done and the lessons, knowledge and wisdom we have gained.
