Imagine you are here, in this very moment
one with this loving, caring family
there is father stone, and mother stone
and your stone siblings
everyone has a different skin tone, a different shape, a different size
yet all are loved and loving
what a surprise
and imagine now, their deep devoted love
for that tiny, giant fern,
not too far above
shielding them a little, from too much sun
sheltering them a little, from the rain that is to come
swaying gently above them
with every wind’s small breeze
come, join our stone-love family
and find the long-lost peace
